How to Customize Columns

Our Custom Columns feature enables you to customize the columns and data shown on lists of resources; Orders, Customers, Subscriptions, Products, Carts, Coupons, and Refunds.

This can be a great way to customize Metorik so it's set up the way you need for your business. You can save as many Custom Column sets as you like and even make them available for your whole team – ensuring that everyone has a consistent view.

Creating your first column set

From any of the resources pages, click the "Columns" button just above the table.

Click the "Edit Column Sets" link at the bottom of the dialog box, then the blue "Create a new column set" button on the modal.

Give your Column Set a name, in this example we'll call it "Customer Frequency"

You can also choose to make the column set available to everyone on your team by click the toggle underneath.

Then simply add the columns you'd like shown in your table. You can click the [x] to remove columns, and click and drag the columns to reorder them.

Once you're happy with your column set (don't worry you can edit it later), click the "Save" button to return to the resource list and see it in action!

Enhanced Columns

Shown at the top of the list, and indicated in light blue are Metorik's enhanced columns. These are columns that show a combination of multiple data points. You can add or remove these from your set.

To switch between column sets

Simple click the "Columns" button on any resource and select a column set available to you.

Managing shared Column Sets

When editing your Column Sets, your Team Sets will display in a separate list below. These are sets you have created and set to be available for the "Whole Team". Sets that someone else has created won't be able to be edited by you, and similarly, Team Sets you have created cannot be edited by others.
