Why doesn't the revenue/orders report sales match the product/categories sales?
You may occasionally run into a situation where your revenue/order report's Gross Sales (less shipping) is a greater amount than your Gross Product Sales. This issue can arise in both Shopify and WooCommerce stores.
Typically, these figures should match, as the total of all your orders (Gross Sales) minus the shipping fees collected, should be the same as a total of all the products sold (Gross Product Sales).
However, if one or more products have since been removed, set to draft, or archived, then those products won't be included in the Gross Product Sales report figure, and thus your totals won't match.
What causes this issue
If you (or someone who has access to your store) has deleted a product, or set the product back to draft or archive status, then they won't be included in your Product Report, and thus won't be included in your Gross Product Sales.
They will still be included in your Gross Sales, as the products are saved in time against the order to become 'line items'.
How to find the offending product/s
To make this easy to diagnose, we've added a filter called Has Deleted Products. This order filter will help you find orders that contain one or more products that no longer exist (as active products) on your store.

After adding the filter and clicking 'Segment Orders', you'll get a list of matching orders which you can then click into to find the offending products.
If after checking for deleted products, you're still encountering a discrepancy, feel free to contact support at help@metorik.com and we can take a look for you.
