Shopify: Cancelled Orders
When an order has been marked as cancelled in Shopify, how it appears in Metorik will vary based on if the order was refunded or just marked cancelled:
Cancelled orders with refunds
If an order has been cancelled but it also has refunds, we will sync the order normally.
If the order has a successful financial status like paid or refunded, we will count the sale of the order and then deduct the refund in reports automatically.
If the order has an excluded financial status like pending or voided (based on your store report settings), it will be completely excluded from reports automatically.
Cancelled orders with no refunds
If an order has been cancelled and has no refunds, we will set the financial status in Metorik to cancelled automatically when storing the order.
Cancelled orders are excluded from reports automatically.
