Segmenting with Jarvis AI

What it is?

Segment with Jarvis AI is a fun, fast, new way to create custom segments of your store's data. It uses the same powerful segmenting system you're familiar with, but instead of you having to manually select filters, Jarvis does the leg work for you.

What it's not

Jarvis AI isn't a chat bot that gives you a specific answer to your question, like ChatGPT or Claude.

At the moment, Jarvis AI can only access the same filters that you can manually add to a segment, it just does it much faster, and may show you some filters you didn't know about.

How do I use it?

Jarvis AI is available on almost every resource and report in Metorik. You can use it to create customer segments, order segments, products, coupons, carts and more. Almost anywhere you can segment, you'll find Jarvis AI.

1. To start, visit the page or report you want to segment.

   
   
2. Then just click the "Segment with AI" button:

3. In the text box that appears, describe what you want to see and click "Create Segment"

You can write in full sentences, or use shorter phrases. For example: "Show me all my orders from last month that had a total over $100" will likely give you the exact same segment as "Last month orders > $100". Just be clear in your request to Jarvis.

4. Once Jarvis has created a segment, it then automatically switches to "Revise" mode. Instead of typing the full segment again, just describe what changes you want to make to the current segment, and click "Revise Segment" or press ⌘ + Enter.

You can keep revising your segment as much as you need until you're happy with it, then save it for later by clicking the "Save Segment" button.
