Transferring Company / Store Ownership

If you ever need to transfer ownership of a company (and its respective stores) to another user on Metorik, you can do that from the company's settings page.

There you'll find an area titled 'Change Owner', where you can select another user to transfer ownership over to.

Importantly, they must be a team member with the  admin role on every store owned by the company first.

Once you've changed ownership, they'll receive an email letting them know and you'll no longer be able to access the company settings.

If the new owner needs to update the payment details for the company, they will now be able to do so from the company settings.

Please Note: If the current owner of the store has left your company / store and you need to transfer ownership away from their account, please reach out to us on support and we'll verify some details with you to see what can be done on our end.
