Acceptable Bounce & Spam Rates
When it comes to bounce and spam rates, we follow the recommendations of our email provider Postmark.
Your bounce rate should be under 10% (eg. 10 bounces from 100 emails sent). Ideally this should be under 5%.
Your spam rate must be under 0.1% (eg. 1 spam complaint from 1000 emails sent). This is normally improved by sending relevant emails, emailing only recent customers, and ensuring that it's easy for customers to unsubscribe from Metorik Engage emails. We also strongly recommend that you import a list of unsubscribes from your other email platforms (like MailChimp, Campaign Monitor, etc.).
