Cart Recovery Conversion Tracking

How do we consider a cart to be recovered?

First, the customer needs to receive a cart recovery email. Then, if one of the following happens, we'll count it as a recovery: 

  1. If they click the email's cart recovery link/button and make an order.
  2. They return to the site and complete their open cart (within 1 day of receiving the email).


There are some situations that may not be considered a recovery (even though they could be):

  1. If the customer receives a cart recovery email, does not click the recovery link and checks out with a different browser/device (new cart).
  2. With #1, even if they use a recovery email discount/coupon, we won't count it (may change later).
