Metorik Integration: ShipStation
Currently this integration only supports syncing shipping costs from ShipStation for use in Metorik's cost and profit system. Later we may sync tracking numbers and other data.
If you use ShipStation to manage your store's shipments, you can connect ShipStation to your Metorik account to automatically import your shipping costs to Metorik.
The integration is quick and easy to set up.
Connecting to ShipStation
Click connect next to the ShipStation integration option on your Metorik integrations page:
To connect your ShipStation account, you need to provide your API Key and API Secret from Shipstation. You can find them under your ShipStation Settings here. Make sure to select "V1" as the API version.
Click Connect Shipstation and you will now be prompted to select the ShipStation store that matches your current Metorik store.
Save the settings, and Metorik will take it from here.
ShipStation Costs
Once connected, Metorik will sync your real shipping costs from ShipStation with your orders in Metorik. You will see your shipping costs attached to orders when viewing individual orders and when looking at costs reports:
Please note that the first sync can take a few hours to complete, especially if you have a lot of past orders. However, once the initial sync is completed, new orders should have their costs synced almost instantly.
Both the shipping cost and the insurance cost (if any) are applied to your orders. If an order has multiple shipments, they will be summed into the shipping cost.
The sync is based on order IDs. In most cases, your store's and ShipStation order IDs should match, but in case they don't, please note that this is a requirement for the integration to work correctly.
Removing ShipStation Costs
After an order has synced the shipping cost from ShipStation, it will remain in Metorik, even if you disconnected the ShipStation integration.
If you'd like to clear this, please contact us. We can then remove the ShipStation data for each order in Metorik and help recalculate costs.
