Sending automated refund email notifications to customers
Keep your customers informed when their orders are refunded by setting up an automated email notification in Metorik Engage.

Create from template
Go to Engage Automations, click New Automation → From Template → Orders, and select the Order marked processing template. See Building an Automation.

Change the trigger to Order Last Refunded At
After naming your automation, edit the audience filters. Remove the default "processing" status filter and add Order Last Refunded At as the trigger condition. This ensures the email fires when a refund is issued.

Customize the email and activate
Edit the email to let customers know their order has been refunded. Send yourself a preview to check layout and content, then activate. See Automation Activation.
