The Metorik desktop app for Mac and Windows bring the full power of Metorik to your desktop – enabling you to use Metorik away from the distractions found in your web browser.

Installing the desktop app

Follow the steps below to install the Metorik desktop app on your computer.

Mac

To install the desktop app on your Mac:

1. Download the app for Mac: metorik.com/download
2. Open the .zip file which is called "Metorik Mac Installer.zip"
3. Double-click the Install Metorik application to install the app
4. The app installation will run and add the Metorik app to your applications folder

Windows

To install the desktop app on your Windows computer:

1. Download the app for Windows: metorik.com/download
2. Double-click the Install Metorik.exe file to install the app

Using the desktop app

The Metorik desktop app provides the exact same set of tools and experience as visiting Metorik in your browser.

Logging in

The first time you open the desktop app after installation, you'll need to log in to Metorik. You'll use the exact same login email and password as you use for Metorik on the web, including 2FA if you have that enabled.

User Preferences

All your preferences and settings are synced, with a few minor differences. The desktop app will remember your preference for the features below, but it won't update your web preferences.
