AI features in the email builder are retiring October 1, 2026

From October 1, 2026, four AI features in the Engage email builder will be retired and no longer available: Smart Headings, Smart Buttons, Magic Images, and Smart Text.

There's nothing you need to do. Everything else in the builder works as usual, and you can keep designing emails as always (see How to use the email builder).

What's changing

The Engage email builder is powered by Unlayer, and Unlayer is retiring these four legacy AI features on their platform from October 1, 2026. After that date they won't appear in the builder. This change doesn't affect the rest of Engage, Metorik's other AI features (like Tori), or emails you've already designed and sent.
